The song "Winter's End" was originally written in the key of Bm, but for a male singer. When DJ taught it to the band, the vocal part was too low for Katie to sing and the song was changed to the key of Em. It's a good thing women do not have deep manly voices.
Had a very productive practice last week and cranked out 3 or 4 new tunes. We gave them a test drive at our two shows over the weekend with much success. Tim gives it 110% in 'Love Shack' and Katie finally learned the harmonies for 'Don't Ever Change'. Good stuff!!!
Katie and I are going up north this weekend for her birthday, so when you see her next, apologize for me that I still haven't gotten her a present.
